Specializing in additions, kitchens, bathrooms, full home renovations, and so much more, there is no limit to our expertise. We are experienced, detail oriented, General Contractors who promise quality work, dedication to customer service, and honest estimates. At Two Chicks Homes, our mission is to make your vision come true and to create a space for you and your loved ones to enjoy for years to come.
Co-Founder | Managing Partner
Ashley Maylott
Ashley’s professional career spans nearly 20 years, including her role as Senior Project Manager at AdvantaClean, an environmental services franchise focused on making homes safe, clean, healthy, and energy efficient. Ashley played a critical role in leading and implementing numerous projects across technology, operations, marketing, training, and communications. She also simultaneously owned and operated her own AdvantaClean franchise, where she assisted countless homeowners in her local community with care and dedication.

From that passion and long-standing commitment to excellence, her exit from AdvantaClean opened the door to her next great adventure as President and Co-Founder of Two Chicks Homes. Ashley fosters an environment of professionalism, teamwork, and high standards, ensuring that every project she manages leaves a mark of quality and care.

Ashley attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a BA in Psychology. She is known not only for her incredible work ethic but also for her warmth and ability to connect with clients and team members alike.
Co-Founder | Managing Partner
Missy Maylott
Originally from Canada, Missy brings a strong background in banking and finance to her role at Two Chicks Homes. In addition to co-founding and managing the company, she serves as VP – Construction Officer at a national bank, helping clients across the country with commercial renovations and ground-up construction for their businesses. Missy is highly adaptable and has excellent communication skills, stopping at nothing to fulfill a customer’s needs. Her strong ethical standards and sharp business acumen set her apart, and she always goes above and beyond to ensure exceptional client experiences from start to finish.

Alongside her banking experience, Missy was a former partner at Maybayne Properties, an investment firm specializing in home repairs and renovations, where she honed her skills in the early 2000s. From there, she expanded her expertise as a NC Real Estate Advisor, Investment Property Broker, and Residential Real Estate Rehabilitation Specialist.
Missy’s creative vision and extensive network of contacts in the rehab and home improvement industry are driving Two Chicks Homes to new heights. Her commitment to both personal and professional relationships is unmatched, and once you meet her, you quickly understand why most people she meets become lifelong friends.

Missy attended Mars Hill College and holds a BS in Wildlife Biology and Outdoor Recreation Resource Management.
Chief Operating Officer | COO
Scott Brown
Scott Brown is a tremendous asset to the Two Chicks team, managing the building side of operations while handling cost estimating, permitting, and plenty of other essential details that keep projects moving forward smoothly. He is also a licensed North Carolina General Contractor.

Scott brings a deep well of knowledge and experience. After 14 years in sales and operations management in the electrical supply industry, he transitioned into disaster restoration and project management. Scott spent 22 years at AdvantaClean, serving in various roles from project management to regional sales coaching, where he developed a reputation for leadership, dedication, and expertise.
​
In addition to his General Contractor License, Scott holds numerous certifications including NADCA Air Systems Cleaning Specialist, Asbestos Abatement Contractor and Supervisor, CMR, CMI, FSRT, OCT, and OSHA Certification. He has traveled extensively, providing project coordination and supervision for large commercial, industrial, and governmental properties nationwide.

Scott’s thorough approach, problem-solving mindset, and ability to connect with clients and crews make him an invaluable leader and a steady force on every job.
General Manager
Katie Rojas
Katie Rojas is a seasoned software and tech customer success and project management expert. She brings over 20 years of experience driving positive customer outcomes, and in her most recent role as Director of Professional Services for a digital signage software company, she worked on special projects with the likes of Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Google, and Milwaukee Tool.

Armed with a BSBA in Finance and Economics from UNC Charlotte, Katie has earned accolades voted by her peers such as "Coach of the Year" and the "Cool Under Pressure" award for her exceptional leadership and problem-solving abilities. Throughout her career, Katie has honed her skills in streamlining processes, always asking the questions “how do we make this easier” and “how do we make this repeatable”?

Inspired by Two Chicks Homes' commitment to quality craftsmanship and community impact, Katie is thrilled to step into the role of General Manager. With her at the helm of any project, expect continued excellence and a steadfast dedication to exceeding customer expectations.
Senior Project Manager
Israel Enriquez
Israel has been a vital part of Two Chicks since the very beginning, where he led many large interior and exterior paint projects with outstanding skill and care. His unmatched attention to detail and exceptional work site management make him truly second to none. We are so excited and grateful to have him as part of our permanent team.

Israel oversees all aspects of planning and execution, including project schedules, scope, and quality control. His leadership ensures that every detail is managed with precision and that each project runs smoothly from start to finish.
​
He also manages subcontractors, keeps the job site safe and clean, addresses any issues that may arise, and ensures that every customer is completely satisfied with the final result.

Construction Manager
Claudio Ortez
Claudio Ortez brings over a decade of hands-on experience in the construction industry to his role as Construction Manager at Two Chicks Homes. His expertise spans carpentry, cabinet installation, painting, drywall, and comprehensive site management.
Claudio’s strong technical skills, combined with his natural leadership abilities, make him an essential part of every project.
Before starting his construction career, Claudio was a high school Science and Chemistry teacher in his home country of Honduras, which speaks to his patience, problem-solving skills, and dedication to continuous learning.

Claudio is known for his calm and steady approach on job sites, ensuring that every detail is handled with care and precision. His commitment to quality and his ability to connect with both the team and clients help create a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Married for five years, Claudio loves singing, playing soccer, and spending quality time with his family when he is not overseeing construction projects. His positive energy, strong work ethic, and warm personality make him a valued leader and a client favorite.

Mauricio Castro
Mauricio is a visionary Team Lead with an exceptional talent for tile, flooring installation, and trim carpentry.

Pam McGrath
Pam has been following the Two Chicks journey since the very beginning, and joining the team in June 2025 truly felt like a dream come true. As our dedicated Client Experience Manager, she guides clients through every step of their project, from start to finish, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and excited along the way. With a true passion for delivering a top-of-the-line client experience, Pam brings her expertise as a marketing guru, a walking Rolodex, and an endless resource of knowledge.
She's also an insurance expert, making her an invaluable guide when navigating the details that matter most. Outside of work, Pam loves spending time with her son Bryson (who just happens to be best friends with our very own Tiniest Chick, Austyn) and enjoys capturing life’s moments as a weekend photographer. Pam’s warm personality and wealth of experience make her an essential part of the Two Chicks team and a favorite among our clients.
Digital Content Strategist
Madeline Nixon
Madeline is the creative mind behind Two Chicks Homes’ digital presence.
As a rising senior at William Amos Hough High School, she brings fresh energy and a keen eye for detail to our social media platforms.
From Instagram stories to Facebook highlights, Madeline keeps our followers inspired and connected with the heart of what we do.

When she's not crafting content, you can find her listening to music, exploring new foods, or spending time with friends cruising around town.

Field Assistant + Operations Trainee
Mason Nichols
Mason supports both the field crew and office team, learning the full lifecycle of residential renovations from demo day to final walkthrough. As a rising senior at William Amos Hough High School and a varsity football player, Mason brings discipline, teamwork, and energy to every job site.
​
In the field, he assists with demo, prep, cleanup, and progress tracking while gaining hands-on trade experience. In the office, he shadows scheduling, budgeting, and operations meetings to better understand the systems that keep projects running smoothly. Whether organizing materials or learning project costing, Mason is committed to growing his skills and contributing wherever needed.

Outside of work, Mason enjoys working out, going to the lake, and spending time with friends. He’s proud to be part of the Two Chicks Homes team and excited to keep learning and building toward the future.
